After the inauguration at the end of August of the seat of its Boat Club at the Sables d’Olonne, Bénéteau announces for the autumn 2018 the opening of two SailTime bases in Italy. Thanks to this new collaboration, the world leader in pleasure boating continues its development strategy with new ways of sharing and using the boat. The American SailTime intends to rely on the power and reputation of Bénéteau to settle in Europe.Entrusting its bases in Tuscany and Salerno to NSS Charter and Spartivento Charter, SailTime has chosen two historical partners of Bénéteau in Italy. The base in Tuscany will operate from the Marina Cala de ‘Medici and that of Salerno will propose its boat to the Marina d’Arechi, on the Amalfi coast.Complementary to the Bénéteau Boat Club, which concentrates its proposal for boats of less than 30 feet, this new offer allows access to larger boats and to appreciate all the pleasures of navigation without, however, being owner.By proposing to its members the whole experience of becoming an owner without having to manage the constraints, SailTime has founded its growth on a system that goes beyond the occasional rental. By entrusting the management of the boat to SailTime, the shipowners can, on the other hand, amortize the purchase and maintenance costs in perfect tranquility. It is the originality of this proposal that has allowed SailTime to become a key player in the United States and to seduce Bénéteau. The opening of two first European SailTime locations in Tuscany and in Salerno launches a new stage of international development for the collaboration between the two brands and at the same time confirms the maturity of the Beneteau Boat Club concept. Numerous offices will be established in Europe and Asia in the next three years.
