Before Departure

When is the best time for a boating holiday?

>

Our boats sail from April to October, ideal months in the Mediterranean for weather and winds. The right season depends on the preferences of your group.  If you are looking for warmer temperatures and more movement, July and August are ideal. The low season is suitable for those looking for more tranquility and more affordable prices.

What are the differences between a boating holiday on a catamaran and a sailboat?

>

The catamaran is the right choice if you are looking for stability, more privacy, comfort and large spaces for liveability on board. For those who, in addition to relaxation, dream of a bit of adventure, we recommend an experience on board one of our sailboats.

Do I need a boating license to rent and sail alone?

>

A sailing licence is required to take command of a sailing boat or catamaran. If you do not have a nautical license, we can show you the service of a professional skipper.

Can I sail for only a weekend?

>

The itineraries we have selected are ideal for a medium-long cruise, so the formula we propose is weekly: our embarkations are made every Saturday, with disembarkation the following Saturday morning, or the following week in the case of a two-week cruise.

What happens if the weather changes?

>

Although the weather tends to be very nice in the summer seasons, you never know. Our teams know the sailing areas perfectly and will advise you on the best ports, bays and places to stay safe and enjoy your holiday even when the sun is not shining!

What should I bring with me?

>

You should bring everything you need for a summer vacation! Swimsuits and flip-flops, pareos and cover-ups, pareos and Bermuda shorts... Don't forget sunscreen and some outfits for evening walks. Bring shampoo and eco-friendly soaps (the fish will thank you!). Finally, use a soft duffel bag that you can easily fold up and store in the hold: hard cases are not welcome on board, but if you can't do without them you can put all your personal belongings on board and leave your bags empty in our luggage room.

Can I simply book a cabin on a boat?

>

On specific weeks of the summer season, you can reserve a double cabin with private bathroom to travel alone or in pairs. We offer either Basic Cabins (on board sailing boats and with essential service) or Luxury Cabins (on catamarans with Crew and All-Inclusive formula). Visit the Cabin Charter section or ask us for more information via email! Remember also that, in any case, our smaller sailboats can be the ideal solution to accommodate even just 2-4 people.

Can I put a boat on hold while I decide?

>

While waiting to confirm their choice, customers can request a so-called "Option" on the desired boat, pending final confirmation within three days.

How can I pay for my charter?

>

You can make a secure payment by credit card through our website, or we also accept payment by bank transfer.

What is the required amount for a deposit?

>

If you book at least 60 days before departure, it is sufficient to pay a deposit of 50% of the rental cost, with final balance 30 days before departure. For bookings within 30 days of departure, the balance is required as a lump sum, except for extras.

What is the cancellation policy?

>

If you wish to cancel your booking, we reserve the right to withhold the payment received. If we manage to rent the same boat in the same week, we will refund the amount of the payments received, net of any differences (e.g. expenses necessary for the conclusion of the new contract, price difference...).

Can I charge my phone/tablet or use a hair dryer on board?

>

You can charge and use your electronic devices just like at home when your boat is moored in port and connected to electricity. In addition, most of our boats are equipped with USB ports to charge phones and tablets at any time with 12v electricity. If you wish to have free use of electricity while sailing, just let our team know and they will offer you a boat with an inverter or generator on board.
